About the company:
We are two, Australians, a Guy and a Girl. In 2006, while renovating of our apartment in Melbourne, we learnt that a set of custom-made curtains cost $150 per meter square upwards. We figured we wouldn’t want to spend more than half our renovation budget on window coverings only! (PS: we had 2 of those floors to ceiling windows). Anyway, we started searching for an alternative and found that the cost of anything custom made isn’t for the material or workmanship, it’s mostly commissions! from Sales Agent’s, to Distributors, Factory, even Landlords!
Not fair we thought! And by luck, we discovered family of talented seamstresses with superpowers to turn sheets of fabric into a wonderful pieces of cover. This was the beginning.
