We are two, Australians, a Guy and a Girl. In 2006,\u00a0while\u00a0renovating\u00a0of our apartment in Melbourne, we learnt that a set of custom-made curtains\u00a0cost $150 per meter square\u00a0upwards. We figured we wouldn\u2019t want to spend more than half our renovation budget on window coverings only! (PS: we had 2 of those floors to ceiling windows). Anyway, we started searching for an alternative and found that the cost of anything custom made isn\u2019t for the material or workmanship, it\u2019s mostly commissions! from Sales Agent’s, to Distributors, Factory, even Landlords!<\/p>\n

Not fair we thought! And by luck, we\u00a0discovered\u00a0family of\u00a0talented\u00a0seamstresses with\u00a0superpowers\u00a0to turn sheets of fabric into a wonderful pieces of cover. This was the beginning.<\/p>\n
